Wall triptych – ‘Fish swimming’

Breast Cancer Care Centre, Salisbury Hospital

I worked closely with the team to introduce a set of colourful wall panels into one of the breast cancer rooms. They wanted something vibrant and with a theme of fish to create a sense of calm.  It was a very personal project for me as my very close friend was treated there and had instigated a change to how the whole interior of the centre looked. It was refurbished with much improvement and the whole centre is a testament to her vision of how she felt a space could be for people being treated for cancer. She sadly died before the project was completed, so this was my most emotional but also proud project to have been involved with.
